Note: This tutorial assumes you have already logged in to your church's SteepleConnect website. If this is not the case, you must first
create an account and log in.
(If you are logged in, you should see your name in the top right hand corner of your church's SteepleConnect website)
Once you've successfully logged in with SteepleConnect, you can update your personal profile which contains information about you
... but why is this important?Once you've created a personal Steepleconnect account, you can then
"Connect" with one or more churches, gaining access to those church's prayer walls, online directories, and other members only content. However, not only do you get access to information about others in the church, those people get access to information about you. Updating your profile allows you to keep that information up-to-date and control what information you share.
You can update your profile at any time simply by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen.
Once you do that, you'll be taken to a page where you can modify all of your personal information.
From here, you can update your name, email address, address, phone number, birthday, and profile picture.
Note: your birthday (if entered) shows up on the calendar of any churches you are connected with - only to approved members. The year of your birth is not displayed anywhere that is visible to anyone but yourself.
